damn peck

in view that peck is no longer going to blog here, i will assume and reclaim my rightful status as chief blogger. by my hands weblogwell will not die because of some fatty who has migrated to blog with a dinosaur.

so i did pw today for 9 to 9. and i fell asleep a grand total of two times without knowing it. i lay on the bed and then 20 minutes later im like WTF i slept. wtf did i miss?! lol

because peck always blogs about movies and shit, i will have to try to fill up those shoez right?

so a few days ago i watched I Am Sam. Sean Penn deserved his ocsar for every minute of the show (even though his 'endearing' character became damn annoying at some times) and then dakota fanning acts her usual role.

but the show is really good lah. im no 1337 critic like peck so i'll leave it at that. good show. sometimes annoying but you cannot find fault with him.

IM MOVING

BECAUSE THIS STUPID TAGBOARD ISNT EVER GOING TO WORK AND I DO NOT HAVE MODERATER STATUS (POEY HAS IT WTH), I HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE UP A JOINTBLOG OFFER BY ANG WEI LIP. WEILIP WAS FORMERLY FROM WEBLOGWELL, EXCEPT HE WAS CRAPPIEST MEMBER EVER, AND I MEAN EVER. there is a rat somewhere

So here I am watching epl and suddenly I hear some crash from inside the kitchen. My dog eddie from behind the sofa goes balistic and starts knocking into everything he sees. Knocks the sofa knocks the chair. So im like omg wth is going on. Next thing I know my maid tells me we gots dem hairy critters running around, and one ran into the kitchen just now.

Then i go ballistic, and start like omging about why all the doors arent closed. Then my maid comes out with a steel cage with a medium sized mouse. Smells bad, but looks generally harmless. Then I calm down and like look at it. Then my maid stuns me by saying that thats a small one. The gigantinormous one is still running about.

That sets me off again, and suddenly the big rat ran over my maids (who was in the garden) foot and we are all HOMGGGGGG DOOM.

So now theres a rat hunt around the house. This really isnt that interesting but I got nothing to blog about really. eddie is a real wuss, and so am I hahahaha.

ali g mania

Well been watching lots of ali g videos on youtube. I actually prefer him to Borat (sasha cohens other alias). Hes acts freaking stupid and really underminds whatever people say. Not sure if theres any point to the satire sometimes, but one poignant one was when he asked anti-nuke hippie protesters if they were on crack lol (a certain irony!). Not for people who want to stay clean though. He makes a lot of sexual references, and uses a lot of vulgarities.

One really funny one was when he destroyed posh and becks for comic relief. The couple was REALLY sporting.

omigosh noob

My mums been doing her slides for her 1337 dental presentation and it was only today on slide 58 that I realised that she doesnt know how to use a textbox. Instead she has been using ONE BIG textbox and then spacespacespacespacespacespacespacespacespace until every word corresponds to each picture. I was like OMGBBQ NUBCAEKE. And she still said "Aiya, everytime one word moves I need to move everything again". -______-

Anyway Open House was hella boring. HISSOC booth and RECAS booth had really few visitors. Ended up playing stupid games for a while with tanneh smoot lip and ac.

After that els asked annliang and I to go visit the biennale. Apparently its bee-nar-lay but I keep thinking that its pronounced as bi-anal. I actually enjoyed myself, even though I was really tired. At first I was like omg whats the meaning of random paint splotches. But after that there were some badass exhibits which were extremely cool. Apart from the fact that I was asking for the meaning of the exhibits half the time (because I am noob and I was tired, and the two synergize to become suckbomb). Yeah we went to the one at tanglin camp. It's rather far in though. Ill recommend it, but get a guide.

Yeah today went to play badminton. Im pretty good, and sianyao are pretty bad. nubs.

City of God

Awesome show of grit and gangster reality in Brazil. Bloody, ruthless, filled with whimsical mayhem. I think some critics called it a mixture between Lord of the Flies and Gangs of New York and The Godfather. Lots of guns, pot, and a burgeoning drug trade. Irony lies in that this is a place where God doesnt seem to exist. And the mass murder is actually interspersed with some rare, nostalgic occasions of warmth and kindness, and that makes the characters seem like theres still a semblance of humanity lost somewhere deep down in them. Bah tired

Im obliged to rate it just to show how much I think of it. 9/10. MUST MUST WATCH
